February in a nutshell

As February comes to an end I thought I'd just update everyone on what has been going on this month. David is keeping busy with work. For the next two weeks he'll be gone Mon-Friday. We are planning on going to Dream World this coming Saturday with some friends of ours. It is supposedly a mini disneyland. I looked it up on the interent and it looks pretty fun. There is even a space mountain ride. Yeah!!!
I have finally receieved a calling in church. It has been a long time. I actually haven't had a calling since David and I were first married. I guess because of having babies no one wanted me :( Jks. I am now in primary. I am a floater type of person I guess. I help out wherever they need me. I guess at first they wanted me to be a teacher but figured it would be hard to do that somedays when David traveled and Kameron isn't in nursery yet. There is this one little boy in Sunbeams who cries every Sunday. He doesn't like going to class so he just cries for his mom. So they like to have someone take him into a seperate room and talk to him and calm him down and then he can join everyone else. So today that was my job. Then once he was calm I went in with nursery. They were so wild today. it was really crazy in there today. We had to have six teachers in there for about 9 kids. Everyone was crying and not listening and it was chaotic. I love being in nursery though.
McKaila is getting so big. It is fun to hear the new sentences she comes up with everyday. She loves to give hugs and kisses. She is enjoying nursery and loves playing outside on her new little tykes climb thing with a slide. She is so cute encouraging Kameron to crawl. She is such a sweetheart (usually).
I can't believe Kameron is going to be a year old next month. Where has the time gone? He is finally mobile. He is army crawling on the carpet and then when he gets on the marble he flips on his back and pushes himself around with his feet. It is too funny to watch. Once he feels the carpet though he flips back over. He is fighting a horrible cold. We took him to the doctors yesterday and they said he has a viral infection. He was given two different medications to take three times a day to help with his cough and runny nose. He is currently 9.4 kg which is about 20 lbs 6 oz. He has lost a little bit of weight since his doc. appointment for his horrible diaper rash. I think it is just because he is sick and he is mobile now so he is burning calories :) Man can this boy eat. The other night we had pancakes for dinner. Kameron at 1 1/2 pancakes and mcKaila only ate 1/2.
I have some good news. We will be back in the states early August. My baby sister, Eva, is getting married on August 9th. It is hard to believe. Now everyone in my family will be married. My brother and his wife Jeni just had their second son and they named him Karson. So now with all my nephews on my side and Davids I have nephews with the names: Karson, Kolton, Kadren and Kaden. That makes McKaila the only granddaughter for my mom and dad.
Last but not least I decided to add a few pictures of David and I ate a ball the other night. Oh and dont' mind the shiny faces. It was hot and our faces look very oily.

Baby Sophia

I have had the opportunity to meet this wonderful lady Lidia and her daughter Sophia. Lidia is here from Vietnam and she came to Bangkok to have her daughter because of the better hospital facilities. She also had gestational hypertension.

Lidia is such a wonderful person. She had a friend Renee staying with her for a while and helping her with Sophia. We have had a wonderful time visiting as well. I am so sad that Renee leaves in two days :( I am also sad that Lidia and Sophia won't be here much longer either. Lidia and I decided that we need to be at the same post. We have so many things in common. I wish I would have met her when she first arrived here so we could have spent more time together.

McKaila I think is hinting to me that she wants a baby sister or something. She loves baby Sophia. She even named one of her baby dolls Sophia. Today at church a lady in the ward brought her 3 week old daughter, Anna, to church and McKaila walked up to the baby and just squatted down right in front of her and stared at her. She kept calling her Sophia. She must have gone up to her and stared at her 3 times before nursery. McKaila loved holding Sophia and she was upset when I said that mommy wanted to hold her. Kaila was counting her fingers, it was adorable. Too bad she is going to have to wait a while for a baby sister. We can't convince Daddy quite yet. LOL

Playing Together

I am very fortunate to have to wonderful children who love to play with together. McKaila got a carseat and a stroller with some new babydolls for Christmas. I guess Kameron makes a better baby than the pretend dolls. LOL. Kameron loves every minute of it. They love one another and it is so sweet to for McKaila and Kameron to be so excited to see each other every morning.
I am so glad that McKaila and Kameron are so close in age. They are best friends and I hope they remain that way through life. Since the day we brought Kameron home from the hospital there has not been one moment where McKaila felt jealous of him . She has only felt love. She has always been willing to get him a pacifier or a toy. She has been such a great big sister. Kameron loves his sister so much as well. He always kicks his legs and squeals with delight when he hears her voice (even when she wakes him up). I am so blessed to have such wonderful children. Here are a few pictures of Kameron being Kaila's baby.

I love my babies!!!

My kids are such goofballs sometimes. Here are some pictures from the last few days. They have been happy as usual (with the occasional temper tantrum). Sadie (our puppy) is adjusting well. Boy, can she eat. When we first got her she didn't eat to well and now she is making up for lost time I guess. We just had the vet come to our house and check out Sadie. For just $30 extra the vet will come to your house and he can basically do anything at your house that he could in his office. Most of my neighbors have dogs. It turned out that they all needed shots of some sort so we split it between 3 of us. The vet said Sadie is really small for a beagle. He said there are larger and smaller breeds of beagles but she is on the smaller side of the small breed :) She did well with her shot and is happily playing right now.

Here is Kameron being his usual happy self.
We got Kaila a new hat and she looked absolutely adorable.

Kameron has been obsessed with his tongue lately. He loves to stick it out and grab it.
