New Puppy

I don't know what I am getting myself into but we bought a new puppy today. We got a female beagle who is about 50 days old the guy said. We were out at the Chatachuk weekend market this morning and spotted all these puppies, kitties, rabbits, and squirrels (yes squirrels) for sale. At first we were going to buy a little bunny for McKaila. They were so tiny and even had on cute little outfits. We decided to keep walking and then we spotted the dogs. We talked about a dog a while ago but decided not too. I couldn't resist the little faces today.
David really likes bull dogs so that is what we were going to get. They had little baby bull dogs and they were adorable. I don't like them when they get older though. I think they get pretty ugly. The lady was asking for 15,000 baht ($454.00) and said the puppy had papers. We decided to keep walking and we'd talk about it when we got home. I somehow convinced David to get the bull dog. When we got up to the lady to ask to see the papers she said they didn't have any. A little bit of a language barrier. So we decided not to get the puppy. We went home and still talked about going back when the nanny got there. David and I agreed to go back and see if we could agree on a dog.
When we found the dogs I noticed these cute little tan beagle in the pin. I picked it up and noticed it was a boy. David and I talked about getting a girl. We wanted a smaller dog so it was hard to find ones that stay small. We put down the male beagle and started to leave. Just as we did someone came and put a black and brown beagle in the pin. I instantly fell in love. I flip the dog over and it was a girl. YEAH!!! We wanted to still shop around to see if there were any other dogs we'd want. We asked the guy if we gave him a downpayment if he would hold the dog while we shopped around a little more. He didn't understand so he walked us over to his friend that spoke english. By that time I had fallen in love. She is so adorable. We decided to name her Sadie.
David is so cute with her. He is actually lying on the couch with her and he just told me "you picked a good one momma". When we brought Sadie in the house McKaila was soooo excited. She squatted down in front of the kennel and was smiling and laughing and saying a bunch of jibberish. She just loves her. We tried taking her out for a walk to go potty and McKaila wanted to walk her. So we let her hold the leash and McKaila was trying to pull her along.
I don't know what I am getting myself into. I guess I'll be potty training two. McKaila is actually doing really well with potty training. I can't believe my first born is 2 years old already. Alright I'll stop being sad. Enjoy the pictures.

McKaila's 2nd Birthday

McKaila turned 2 years old yesterday. Where has the past 2 years gone? We decided to go to Safari World to celebrate. For the past two weeks she has been asking to see elephants. We decided we would do it for her birthday so we told her that when she asked. Everyday for the past two weeks she has been saying "elephants monday" and "elephants birthday". We went into her room on her birthday to sing to her and when we were done she said "elephants monday." We told her that today is monday and we are going and she got so happy. It was the cutest thing.
We were at Safari World for 7 hours. The kids did so well. McKaila had a little breakdown but it was because she kept playing with the umbrella on the stroller and she was told not to. Other than that no problems. Kameron had a few breakdowns but that was to be expected. He woke up at 8 and he didn't take a nap until 4:30 as we were leaving the park. He usually is going down for his second nap of the day at 4:30. He slept for maybe 10 minutes. They were so worn out. We saw so much at the park. I only posted a few pictures but that is because we had so many pictures I only picked a few of my favorites. When we first got to the park our driver drove us around in "Safari Park". There were a bunch of animals just roaming around. We saw ostrich's (which were pecking at our window), zebras, giraffes, rhino's, bears and much more. We also saw tigers and lions being fed. Inside "Marine Park" we saw a sea lion show, elephant show, dolphin and belluga whale show and a stuntman cowboy show. We had such a blast on our little trip. I hope McKaila can remember this for years to come. Enjoy the pictures.
Kameron is such a goof ball. This is him playing around while we were waiting for the dolphin/belluga whale show to start.

Here is David petting a giraffe. He found out that their favorite spot is by their ears. It was so cute. He would pet by their ears and they would turn their head a little bit more towards David. I knew that giraffes had long tongues but my goodness. They were really long. McKaila got to feed the giraffes bananas.

This was McKaila's favorite part of the day. She looks a little frightened here because the elephants trunk came up but she quickly got over it. The man gave her a carrot to feed to the elephant and McKaila threw it in front of the elephant :) Since yesterday McKaila says "ride elephant" all day long.

Here is Kameron with a trainer sitting on top of an elephant. Kameron loved it.

Here we are holding two baby tigers. It was so much fun to hold them and feed them. The bottle for the tiger David was holding was out of milk so the tiger kept trying to get milk from the bottle for my tiger. The kids loved them. I don't know what is up with my face in this picture.

Some pictures

Here are just some pictures that David and I took yesterday. Enjoy

Our New House

New year and a new house. We are have finally unpacked all of our boxes and the house is getting set up. Our walls are a little bare because we have concrete walls and it is very difficult to hang pictures or anything else. Nothing gets you moved in more than having company over. We have had a lot of people over for dinner. Last night we had two families come over. It was great fun but ended up with us having a broken table.
David has been home and not traveling that much since his 3 week cargo ship. I have been very lucky to have him home so much. The kids have enjoyed him being home as well. We both had to give talks today in church. It went pretty well. I didn't take very long so David had more time to talk but he did really well stretching it.
Tomorrow McKaila turns 2. Where has the time gone? We are going to Safari World for the day. David and I are really excited. For the last two weeks McKaila keeps saying "Monday elephants" "Monday birthday". She loves elephants and keeps asking to go. We hired a driver and are leaving at about 8:30 in the morning.
So here are the pictures of our house. It is kinda messy but that is because we are going out of town tomorrow.

Here is the outside of the house
