Maternity Photos

We all decided to head out to the national forest near our house for a maternity photo shoot. I think David did a great job. The kids had a blast. We parked the van and continued our walk down this large path and then took a smaller path through the trees. McKaila and Kameron did amazing. They walked the whole time. They loved finding branches and nuts for our friend Chippy. Chippy is the squirrel we always see in our front yard. McKaila thinks he's the coolest thing and when we get home from somewhere she says "Chippy, we're home." She loves Chippy and she was trying to find him some friends in the forest today. Along her walk she found some nuts and told us that she found food for Chippy. I hope we can go to the forest a lot more before winter hits. It is definitely getting chilly around here. It is probably time to pack up shorts and sandels for everyone. Enjoy the pictures.

Jayden update

I went to the doctor today for an ultrasound to check on my placenta. It was low lying at my 20 week appointment so they were checking today to see if it has moved farther away from the cervix so I can avoid a c-section. I will get the measurements of that at my next doctors appointment on the 30th of October. The reason it'll take so long is my OB wasn't the one that did the ultrasound. My OB office only has a tech to do ultrasounds on Monday and Tuesdays and can't take any appointments later than 2. That really isn't an option for me because of Davids work and he has a long commute. They really wanted to check the placenta so they sent me to an x-ray lab because they could accommodate my schedule. The x-ray tech has to have the radiologist look over the measurements she took to make sure he agrees and then they send it to my doctor. I was really hoping to find out today about the placenta and how big he is right now.
The x-ray tech was so awesome. She showed me lots of things on my little boy. She did 3D/4D pictures as well. At the end she apologized for getting so carried away in the 3D. I didn't complain :) From the looks of the ultrasound, Jayden has some chubby cheeks like Kameron did. He has the Kirkendall forehead for sure. The x-ray tech said she even saw hair. She showed me what it looks like and then showed me the back of his head (where they tend to have more hair). She laughed because it is pretty long. She says I can't guarantee how thick or thin it is but this boy has hair. I am 31 weeks 3 days and he is measuring about 33 weeks 1 day or so. Everything looked good on my little boy. Seeing his face in 3D really makes me anxious for him to be here. I already want to squeeze his chubby cheeks. He still isn't head down. He is being stubborn for sure. The radiologist said he couldn't make up his mind which way he wanted to lay. He kept flipping around during he ultrasound. He also couldn't keep his hand out of his face. It was hard to get good 3D pictures because his hand was up there and moving around. Hopefully he will decide to cause me less stress and he'll be head down soon. I really don't want a c-section. I'll update when I know his measurements.

McKaila's ballet

McKaila loves to do "ballet". We have taken her to a class before but it wasn't well organized for her age group I think. Anyways, McKaila often runs around the house saying that she needs to do her ballet. She is very energetic as you can see. Excuse the tv on a box. This was before we hung it on the wall. When she comes to the camera and starts talking, I hav eno idea what she is saying except at the end she says "Krispies" which is short for Rice Krispies. I love the concentration on her face though. Enjoy.

More ballet

Some recent photos

I love this picture. McKaila helped Kameron put on the bakers hat and the oven mit. Nice mess kids. Once again McKaila is in pj's. She has to take a nap in pj's or she won't take one.

Isn't he adorable? I think so.

McKaila's smile on demand. It was morning and thats why she has crazy hair and pj's on.

Hi bubba!

Update

Sorry for having to go private with the blog. Believe me, I didn't want to because it was a pain to copy and paste tons of email addresses to add. Oh well. Hopefully this will help things. Anyways I'll give you a little update on everyone.
Where do I even begin with Miss McKaila? Her newest thing to ask is "what kind is this" about everything. A few examples....
McKaila ~ "Mom, what kind of corn is this?"
Me ~ "Corn on the cob."
McKaila ~ "What kind of corn on the cob?"
McKaila ~ "Mom, what kind of fruit punch is this?"
Me ~ "Its red fruit punch McKaila."
McKaila ~ "What kind of red fruit punch?"
You get the point but this goes on and on. She'll keep asking what it is but adds onto whatever I just told her it is. Honestly I am quite annoyed with it and hope she stops this phase soon. For a few days McKaila was refusing naps. It took me 3 hours to finally get her to go to sleep but by the time she'd finally go down, Kameron would wake up from her crying. It was hopeless for a few days. We thought maybe she was just phasing them out but the hard thing is she NEEDS a nap. If she doesn't get her nap, by dinner time she is an emotional drama queen. She continues to make us laugh daily with the things she comes up with. She wants to be Hanntana (what McKaila calls Hannah Montana) for Halloween. The problem is all the outfits are too big for her. Not sure what she'll be yet. This afternoon as we were driving home she was singing so many songs all mashed together with her own words. It was quite hilarious to listen to. She is so sweet to her brother (most of the time). We were out to eat tonight and as she was playing in the playground she kept calling for Kameron and she even bent down to this other little girl, hands on her knees and asked "have you seen my brother". It was so cute.
Kameron is my little ham. He weighs as much as McKaila does. He is such a mommas boy and I think he's going to have a hard time when Jayden is born. He doesn't like to go see daddy when he is hurt or tired. He wants his momma. He does love snuggling with his blankie and his daddie though. I will often find him lying on Davids chest watching tv before bedtime. He doesn't understand a baby is in my tummy quite yet. He see's my belly and he'll walk up to it and try to blow raspberries on it but thats about it. He is in for a shock in a few months. He loves the movie CARS, and he loves Spongebob Squarepants. He is finally in nursery and he loves it. David and I finally get a few months by ourselves in our classes. YEAH!!!
David is enjoying his job. I am enjoying it to since he is home everynight and usually home by mid afternoon at the latest. Not to much to update on him I guess :)
I am surviving. I know I have 10 weeks or less left but I wish it was time already. My body is in pain pretty much all day long. I don't know what it is about this pregnancy but my body isn't adjusting to well. When I was pregnant with McKaila I remember feeling great the whole 9 months and I wondered why women complained during pregnancy. When I was pregnant with Kameron the pains got a little worse throughout the pregnancy but nothing compared to this. It
hurts to sit or stand. I can't sleep at night and when I finally all asleep I am interupted and have to go to the bathroom. I guess I shouldn't complain. People have it a lot worse I'm sure. In the end I am going to have a beautiful baby boy. Thats what I need to focus on. David and I have a tour of the hospital next Wednesday. If I were to go into labor now, we wouldn't know where to go. I haven't set foot in this hospital yet.
Overall things are going good here in the Lee household. We are almost all the way unpacked. Hopefully this weekend we can get more things organized so I can post some pictures.

Blog changes

Hey everyone. Just wanted to tell you all that my blog is going private in the next few days. If you want to be invited to read it send me an email. Hopefully later it can go back to being public but for reasons I'm not going into the blog is going private for a while. Thanks
