Kameron is One

It is hard to believe that my little boy is a year old. His birthday was March 27 and we had his party on the 29th. We had friends over and had a taco buffet with little sandwiches and things for the little kids. It was a lot of fun but its hard to believe my little guy is one. He is such a good kid though. He is never really cranky unless he's tired. He is such a momma's boy. There are a lot of pictures so I hope I don't bore any of you.
Here is Kameron's hospital picture. Well the one that we took but it looks just like the one the hospital took. We didn't order any because there lighting wasn't working on their camera and the pictures came out to dark. Oh well. Kameron was 21 inches long and 8 lbs 10 oz.

Here is Kameron on his actual birthday. He was playing in our puppy's dog bed. What a goof.

Here is Kamerons cake that I made him. I think it turned out pretty good. It was such a nightamare with the frosting though. I put too much red in the icing and the color wasn't looking right. Long story short I have to make 3 different batches of icing (all requiring 1 lb of powdered sugar) and running to two different grocery stores at 10:30 at night. I was so upset I was ready to cancel his party.

This is Kameron's smash cake that I made for him.

Happy Birthday to you..... He kept trying to grab the candle off of the cake.

He was just picking off little pieces of icing to try. McKaila did the same thing.
He was really enjoying the icing at first. It took him a little bit to actually get the cake.

MMMMMM. He really enjoyed the cake. One minute the cake was looking like the picture above and the next minute looking like this.

Finishing up with his cake. We was done soon after this picture.

This is the end result of the cake. I don't know where all of it went. I guess he ate it all because it wasn't in his lap or the floor. Way to go Kameron.

Here
are just a few pictures of Kameron opening just a couple of his presents.

Kameron opening a present on his real birthday. As you can see by his face he wasn't too sure of what he was doing. He made some of the funniest faces.
