I know Easter has come and gone but I am a little late at getting the pictures up. Things have been a little hectic here lately but they are starting to settle down, I hope. On St. Patrick's Day the ward had a primary activity to celebrate Easter. Since I am in primary I was able to bring McKaila to the activity. She had a blast. They decorated bags and cookies, had an easter egg hunt, relay races, story time and singing time. They made these wonderful "Easter Eggs" that go along with the Resurrection. Each egg has something in it to help the little kids stay focused and to help them understand. We had a wonderful Easter together as a family. We hope everyone else had a nice Easter as well and thought about the Resurrection of our Savior.

McKaila loved "finding" the eggs. At first she wanted to open each and every egg as she picked it up. There are no other kids around her because we had to leave a little early so I could be back home in time for a bike tour David and I were going on. We just let her grab a couple of eggs on her own. It made the taxi drive home really nice. It kept her occupied during the bad traffic.
We also attended an Easter party at the Embassy. This was the day before Easter. They had an Easter egg hunt but we got there a little too late and missed the hunt. Oh well, she doesn't need more candy. They had hot dogs, fried rice, chips and lemonade to eat while we were there. There were lots of different crafts that the kids could do. They didn't really have anything toddler orientated. So most of the activities included me doing the craft. McKaila didn't seem to mind at all. You can't see it in this picture but we are making a basket picture frame. Yes, in case you were wondering McKaila was about to pick her nose. She has that nasty habit.
Easter morning we woke the kids up 30 minutes early so we could get their baskets done and be to church on time. The Easter bunny left a trail of eggs from the stairs to the couch where her basket was. She tried to pick them all up at once. If you look close, she has one egg in her left hand and trying to pick up another egg and then she has two eggs in her right hand.

Kameron was just interested in eating the eggs. McKaila thought it was pretty funny.
