Three years ago at 9:55 p.m. tonight (mountain time) we welcomed our little girl into this world. McKaila Rae Lee was born weighing 7 lbs 15 oz and 20 1/2 inches. David and my mother were present for her birth. McKaila was such a sweet baby. I was looking back at her newborn pictures the other day and my eyes filled with tears of joy. I will try and upload those pictures later this week. I am on the laptop and the pictures are on the home computer out in the garage.
McKaila is such a funny kid. She loves to sing and dance and she loves to hold Jayden. I enjoy hearing McKaila and Kameron playing together in the playroom. Most of the time they get along but McKaila and Kameron love to tease each other.
I feel so blessed to be McKaila's mom. She truly is a sweet girl. She can have quite the attitude and is strong tempered but she is very loving. Even though McKaila is just turning 3, it feels like she has been in my life forever. I know David would agree with me in that we wouldn't know what to do without this sweet spirit in our lives. We truly are blessed to have her in our family.
I took all three kids to Chuck-E-Cheese this morning for playgroup. McKaila and Kameron had a blast riding the little merry-go-rounds and the other little rides. McKaila got a Cinderella dress from her grandparents. Kinda funny but both Grandmas got her a Cinderella dress :) It'll be good to have two of them. She wore her dress and crown to Chuck-E-Cheese and has been wearing it all day. McKaila has chosen to go to IHOP for dinner tonight. I told her she could chose anywhere she wanted and that is what she wanted, so IHOP it is. She will be having a princess birthday party this weekend. I'll make sure I take lots of pictures and post them afterwards.
Happy birthday McKaila. We love you so much.
